The story.
This film was created for Corenza Morris’s 2025 independent campaign for Georgia State Senate District 35. The special election took place on November 18, 2025, in parts of Cobb and Fulton counties, to fill the vacancy left by Senator Jason F. Esteves. The film introduces Morris through direct-to-camera remarks, community conversations, and personal moments.
The visual approach
Architectural frames establish the setting, while closer portraits and everyday interactions bring the film back to people. The visual progression gives the introduction both a public presence and a personal register.
