Project context

The story.

This fundraising event brought Omar Ali and the Ali family together with Andre Dickens and their guests. The film and photographs move between arrivals, personal conversations, remarks, and portraits of the people gathered.

The visual approach

An intimate view of a public-facing gathering: candid greetings and close conversations establish the atmosphere, while wider coverage preserves the remarks and shared moments in the room.
